FRM-40200: Cannot Unfreeze Descriptive Flexfield

FRM-40200: Field is protected against update


follow these steps:

# Select Application Developer responsibility
# Navigate to Flexfield, Descriptive, Register
# Query the flexfield
 
  There you will see that the protected flag is checked.
  Uncheck and save.


Try and unfreeze the flexfield again.
